COME AND WORSHIP WITH US

every sunday 11am-1pm

Mississauga Valley Community Centre

We are a Bible based Pentecostal Christian Fellowship,

and we are focused on sharing the gospel to everyone. We do it by proclaiming the the word of God by preaching, teaching and witnessing Christ to people.

When people hear the word of God, they will be repented of their sins and turn to God. Consequently , they will ask for forgiveness followed by taking the water baptism and be saved. Mark 16:16 says ” those who believe and baptized shall be saved”. Act 2:38 (a) Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins…”

Our gracious God desires all to know Christ through repentance, forgiveness, faith, and a lifetime of loving intimacy. Jesus came the first time to earth as our Savior. After His resurrection, as He ascended back to heaven, He promised to return. Christ will come again as our judge. However, our heavenly Father’s patient mercy delays His son’s return. Jesus waits, so the unredeemed have time to believe and become sons and daughters of the Almighty. God’s will is salvation in Jesus for all.

Like the door to Noah’s ark eventually closed, so our opportunity to trust Christ is slowly slipping away. The flood waters of judgment will one day drown us in death. Will we be ready? Salvation and safety can only be found in our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord’s patient love invites us to repent, trust and not perish. Yes, we still have time to warn others of the judgment to come. Some will mock, others will act apathetic, but a few will find refuge in Jesus

WHAT WE BELIEVE

We  believe that the Bible is the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God. We believe that there is only one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ (2 John :7), in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory. John 20:31 that “These are written, that ye may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing, ye may have life in His name.” Also in the book of Hebrew 1:8 it id written “But unto the Son he saith, thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever; a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.” If we should go no further it is evidently the clear and often repeated teaching of the Bible that Jesus Christ was really God.

We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful people, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they who are saved unto the resurrection of life and they who are lost unto the resurrection of damnation. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

WORSHIP MEETING (English)

YOUTH & KIDS PROGRAM 10AM-11AM

Our gifted bible teaches will teach and train the young children to walk by faith by trusting the Lord. "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it" (Prov. 22:6

Integrity

“But select capable men from all the people—men who fear God, trustworthy men who hate dishonest gain—and appoint them as officials over thousands, hundreds, fifties and tens.” Exodus 18:21------------- Leaders with integrity are a rare breed within a group of citizens, whose utmost concern is, “What is in it for me?” A selfish society does not always select a leader for their integrity, but for their ability to manipulate a quick fix for chronic problems. It is this short sightedness that can set back a generation, because of their leader’s greed and corruption.----------- However, men and women of integrity understand the big picture of principled leadership, and they value fear of God, trustworthiness and honest economics. A leader of integrity looks out over the long term, and discovers what is best for the culture, its citizens, churches and families. There is a resolve to do the right things, with the right people, for the right reasons. Leaders of integrity integrate uprightness with their quiet influence.----------------- “Then the LORD said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil. And he still maintains his integrity, though you incited me against him to ruin him without any reason.” Job 2:3 -------------- Therefore, select capable men and women who hold Christ and His commands in high esteem, who you can trust to do and say the right things, implemented in the right way. A leader of integrity delegates to capable leaders.----------------- So, select your leaders in government and church prayerfully, and only after extensive due diligence of their policies, integrity and track record. Blindly betting on one person is a bad process. Instead, select statesmen who will serve the people in the best interests of the country—who surround themselves with the best and the brightest, full of character. Most importantly, choose those who will submit to the accountability of God and man.---------- The early church experienced a similar selection process of leaders: “Brothers, choose seven men from among you who are known to be full of the Spirit and wisdom. We will turn this responsibility over to them and will give our attention to prayer and the ministry of the word (Acts 6:3-4)”.

Perseverance

Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. Revelation 3:10---------------- “Be still, and know that I am God” (Psalm 46:10).--------------------- Oswald Chambers develops this idea of our hopes being threatened by fiery trials, “If our hopes seem to be experiencing disappointment right now, it simply means that they are being purified. Every hope or dream of the human mind will be fulfilled if it is noble and of God. But one of the greatest stresses in life is the stress of waiting for God. Continue to persevere spiritually.” Often it’s when we are on the verge of giving up or giving in that the Lord’s divine plan begins to unfold. A glimmer of what the Spirit is up to shows us how to grow into a better version of ourselves. To persevere is to pursue God while we wait on God, and in the process, we rest in perfect love. Whatever you face, keep looking into the face of your Savior, Jesus Christ. The one who endured the cross amid loud, unjust criticism. He stayed the course and finished the race. Whatever hard situation you face…persevere. And in the process of perseverance, be resourceful to educate yourself by learning from those who have endured similar circumstances. Engage a mentor or coach to keep you moving forward one step at a time. Even when you feel like your progress is two steps forward and one step backward…stay in the process. Trust that in God’s timing, trials and tests will subside as you learn what the Lord is teaching you. And make sure to persevere with another…love is patient…you never forget those who remain closest during the darkest days. Perseverance wins because Jesus promises a blessing to those who remain faithful.

Faithfulness

To the faithful you show yourself faithful, to the blameless you show yourself blameless Psalm 18:25 Faithfulness is doing what I said I would do. It is an integrity issue. Commitments are not to be taken lightly. For example, a verbal commitment is an unwritten contract. However, these can be the most risky and misunderstood. If we make a verbal commitment, it behooves us to make sure it is plain to all parties involved. Do not blame others for unfaithfulness if this is a chronic problem in your own life. Fortunately, as followers of Christ we have Him as our faithful model. The Lord has been faithful even in our unfaithfulness. God says what He does and does what He says. He is faithful to forgive our sin and lead us to forgive. He is faithful to convict us of sin and to lead us into righteousness. He is faithful to flood our souls with peace, joy, and contentment. God understands what it means to keep a commitment, even at great cost—the death of His only Son. Indeed, the Lord is faithful to the faithful. Unfaithfulness will catch up with us if not quickly remedied. Adultery is an example of marital unfaithfulness. Yet how many of us go to bed with other conflicting relational commitments. Do not let work, hobbies, children, or money become your “mistress.” Faithfulness begins and ends with follow-through on our commitments to God. After our conversion, we made a commitment to follow Christ. Following Jesus requires fidelity of faith. There are no equals to our love for Him. Yes, the Lord defines and rewards your faithfulness. Your faithfulness does not go unnoticed or unrewarded. One of the greatest rewards is the gift of trust. Faithfulness births and grows trust; so over time you earn the reputation of a trustworthy person. Those who can be trusted with a little can be trusted with much. Thus, be faithful so you can be trusted. Above all, be faithful because He is faithful! “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’” (Matthew 25:23).

What Wisdom Looks Like

James 3:17

“But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere.” James 3:17 ESV

Bible Truth: The wisdom of God is full of good things!

When facing an important decision we can look to the Word to find what wisdom looks like for that situation. When we follow Jesus, he leads us toward wisdom. First and foremost that wisdom is found in the Word. We may not find exactly what to do in every circumstance directly in the Bible but the Word does give us the characteristics of wisdom. Use this passage to help your child understand what wisdom looks like. Encourage them to ask these questions when faced with a decision—Is this pure? Do I have peace? Is this gentle? Will this bring good fruit (or can good come out of this?). These guidelines can help navigate our thought process and lead us to wise choices.

Related Verse: “…that their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, to reach all the riches of full assurance of understanding and the knowledge of God’s mystery, which is Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Colossians 2:2-3
